Note: While the machine can clean Blu-ray discs, we don’t offer this service as it doesn’t repair Blu-ray scratches due to the data on Blu-ray's being on the bottom, not top of the disc like DVD format discs.
What to Expect
Each clean takes 3–5 minutes per disc and costs just R20
- Removes dirt, smudges, and many scratches
- No harsh chemicals – gentle poloshing
- No guarantee the disc will be fully restored – but we’ve seen great success with most CDs/DVDs looking and playing much better after a single clean.

You can also send your discs via courier. Once we receive them, we’ll clean them and send them back to you.
Just note: return courier costs will apply, and the turnaround time will be a bit longer depending on courier timing.

The Disc Cleaning Machine

Our in-store disc cleaning service uses the Eco Clever Front View 700-2, a professional-grade machine designed to clean and restore CDs, DVDs, and game discs (like PS1, PS2, Xbox 360, Wii, and more).
The Eco Clever Front View 700-2 uses a combination of soft pads, cleaning solution, and precision polishing to gently resurface discs. It carefully removes dirt, fingerprints, and surface scratches from CDs and DVDs by smoothing out the top layer of the disc without damaging the data underneath. The result is a cleaner, more playable disc – often with visibly improved condition.
